About Privacy3

Privacy3 is a free, curated directory of privacy-focused tools, protocols, and applications for the onchain ecosystem. We do the research so builders and users don't have to — surfacing the projects that are actively maintained, documented, and genuinely privacy-preserving across wallets, mixers, bridges, DeFi, messaging, and more.

Our Mission

Financial privacy is a fundamental right, not a feature. In a world where on-chain activity is public by default, the tools that protect users deserve a trusted, neutral home. Privacy3 exists to:

  • Promote onchain privacy as a first-class concern for the blockchain ecosystem
  • Build a trusted, editorially consistent reference for founders, developers, and everyday users
  • Unite the privacy ecosystem — connecting projects, teams, and communities working toward the same goal

We don't take ads, we don't charge for listings, and we don't rank tools by who pays the most. Every listing is here on merit.

Who We Are

Privacy3 is built and maintained by the team at Loyal . Loyal is a Web3-native company focused on making crypto more approachable and trustworthy — from infrastructure to user-facing tools. We believe that privacy and transparency can coexist, and that better tooling is how you get there.

This directory is one way we give back to the ecosystem we're building in.

What Gets Listed

We apply a consistent editorial standard to every submission. To be listed on Privacy3, a tool must:

  • Be actively maintained — no abandoned or unmaintained projects
  • Have a genuine privacy focus — tools that exist primarily to protect user data or transaction privacy
  • Have publicly available documentation

We give extra weight to projects that are:

  • Open source with a verifiable codebase
  • Security-audited with a published report

We do not list:

  • Abandoned, deprecated, or rug-pulled projects
  • Scam-adjacent or unverifiable tools
  • Projects that use "privacy" marketing but don't deliver meaningful privacy guarantees
  • Tools unrelated to blockchain or cryptocurrency

How It Works

Anyone in the community can submit a tool for consideration. Our team reviews every submission against the criteria above before adding it to the directory. The process is straightforward:

  1. Submit your tool using the form on the Submit a Tool page
  2. Our team reviews the submission — typically within a few business days
  3. If approved, the tool goes live; if not, we'll let you know why

Listings are free. There are no ads and no pay-to-play tiers. If a listed project becomes inactive or problematic, we reserve the right to remove or flag it.
